Radio Control Services fills a gap in the process of achieving excellence in aeromodelling. Your local model shop sells you a kit, and with any luck they point you in the direction of a model club. But how do you get help in the building process? Whom do you trust those first flights to?

Radio Control Services is run by Andrew Palmer - one of the top radio control aircraft pilots in the country. Andrew has achieved numerous local and national titles and is experienced in all forms of R/C aircraft.

As the holder of New Zealand Model Aircraft Association (NZMAA) wings instructor certificates for both fixed wing and helicopter instruction Andrew aspires to the highest levels of excellance.

Helicopters:
Perhaps the most challenging disipline in aeromodelling today, the modern radio control helicopter brings together engineering excellance and the requirement for a skilled pilot.
We can advise you on equipment pros and cons and good packages for a beginner. After the purchase of your equipment, the helicopter still requires assembly. A somewhat daunting task. We offer several options on the assembly of your model. From advise on occasion and a final check over, to full assembly of the model - ready to go.
Once your model has passed our rigiourous pre-flight checks, we can offer a test flying service (including trimming) and also initial flight instruction.

Fixed Wing:
While we do not offer scratch built plane construction at this point, we can offer an assembly service for almost ready to fly (ARF) kits. We are firm believers that a correctly assembled model improves your chances of flight success tremendously.
And once your model has passed our pre-flight checks, we can offer a test flying service (including trimming) and also initial flight instruction.
